Welcome - Oceanpoint Acupuncture And Herbal Medicine in South Portland, Maine

Welcome To Oceanpoint Acupuncture

Through the use of Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as modern methods of alternative treatments, I combine a 3,000 year old tradition with a modern approach to healthcare. As each person is different, so too is their ailment, which is why I tailor each treatment to the individual's needs. This allows true and lasting healing by addressing the root cause.

Treatment Protocol

Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine is a cumulative treatment process. In the Beginning of your treatments weekly sessions will most likely be necessary in order to achieve results. I encourage you to call or email me prior to booking a session so that I can explain the process and we can discuss if this is a modality that is right for you.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)

Having evolved over 3500 years, acupuncture is one of the oldest continually practiced medical modalities in the world. It is a safe, effective way to regulate the body's energy system, known as Qi, and harmonize Yin and Yang. Unlike Western medicine, which focuses on the symptom, Chinese Medicine treats the root cause defined by the constitution of each client. TCM combines acupuncture, herbs and other manual therapies together to bring a full spectrum of healing approaches to each session.
